Such a quiet location, just the birds and animals for company. But close to food options as well. Nothing :-) you do need to know the king bed has minimal room around it though

We had such a peaceful and restorative stay. The cabin is beautiful and the view is so tranquil. Mel and Chelsea were super responsive and accommodating. We would love to visit again!

What an amazing stay, I am so lucky I found this place for a little getaway to the country! The tiny home has everything you might need within it, and has the most beautiful views out the main window. The deck where I spent each morning watching the sunrise is so spacious and I cannot begin to describe how peaceful this stay is! The animals on the property as a bonus. Mel was such an amazing host, in contact with clear instructions consistently before and at the end of the stay which was very much appreciated. I cannot recommend this stay enough (in fact I’ve already passed on the details to members of my family that loved all my pictures and videos!) I will be back! Thank you Mel! 🥰

The cabin was beautifully presented with a lot of extra touches. We loved the fireplace and the view and the bed was very comfortable. Although the kitchen was compact it had everything needed to cook a lovely meal. Overall we would highly recommend the cabin if you want a quiet getaway in Gippsland but close to conveniences.

Best place to spend family time. Peaceful and so beautiful views. Clean and fully furnished. From the moment we entered it was a WOW moment. Must recommend this place to friends and family. Host is helpful and always ready to reach out. No intervention by host or anyone. Full privacy for quality time.

Breakfast was great. Cabin was amazing. Had everything I could need. Comfortable bed, all kitchen requirements. Breakfast was included, which was a pleasant surprise. Beautiful sunrise view with horses, cows, alpacas, birds on the pond. Close to all facilities in Heyfield which was a lovely place to visit. Only met one of the hosts but she was friendly and very welcoming. Cabin had two key locks just in case one key was misplaced. Very good attention to small details. Nothing with the cabin, it was perfect. Don't believe Google maps when it says 19Kms to Walhalla. It is not.

My best friend and I stayed at Mels beautiful property the weekend just gone and we both have never had such a kind and caring welcome!
The Cottage was stunning and was filled with goodies and plenty of fun games me and my best friend stayed up all night playing and admiring the scenery! The extras that are offered are well and truely worth it! We chose the farm animal photography package and we had the best time! Mel made us feel super comfortable and took the time to explain everything properly and taught us a lot of useful information. I couldn’t recommend Gumnut Cottage Gippsland any higher! I can’t wait to return ☺️☺️❤️❤️

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful cabin. The location is truly special—peaceful, secluded, and surrounded by stunning views that made it easy to switch off and relax. The cabin itself was thoughtfully designed, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a quiet, scenic spot.

Mel was so attentive and responsive throughout our whole stay and in the lead up answering any questions I had. The cabin was absolutely spotless and so gorgeous , with so much thought and care put into every little detail. We absolutely loved our stay , so relaxing and wonderful. Highly highly recommend
